This is an excerpt of the paper Notes on Affine Hecke Algebras I. (Degenerated Hecke Algebras and Yangians in Mathematical Physics) by Ivan Cherednik.
We demonstrate that the quantization of momenta in different two-dimensional theories of elementary particles with factorizable scattering amplitudes gives the so-called degenerated affine Hecke algebras and its versions. Some connections with quantum groups, with the two-dimensional conformal field theory and with representation theory are discussed.
